I'm sorry for not posting for a few days, but here is part one of my summer book haul!
I have read the majority of these. Some of these, I read a long time ago, but I only recently bought my own copies of them. If I have read the book, I will post my rating.
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.
Contemporary. Of course, I've owned the standard hardcover book for a very long time, but when I met the cast (!) a few months ago, I was given the movie cover in paperback for free! Yay for dual copies in different covers!
I doubt that I need to post a summary for this book, so I will keep it brief:
This is the story of Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters, who fall in love after meeting at their cancer support group.
All of the stars. (Get it? Hah!)
Paper Towns by John Green.
Contemporary. This book tells the story of Quentin, who has been madly in love with Margo and has watched her from afar for some time. When Margo disappears, clues are left behind for Quentin to find her.
Looking For Alaska by John Green.
Contemporary This story is about Miles, who "comes to seek a great perhaps" when transferring to a boarding school. There, he befriends his roommate, who introduces him to Alaska Young: pretty and mysterious.

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry.
Contemporary. This book follows the lives of Echo and Noah, polar opposites who may just happen to fall in love. Echo is seen at school as the "freaky" girl because of the scars all over her arms. And Noah, the lonely stoner who uses girls, actually understands her. They shouldn't be right for each other, and yet, neither of them can stay away.

Lux: Consequences (Opal & Origin) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Paranormal Romance. This book is a bind-up of the third and fourth books in the Lux series. Since I don't want to spoil you, I'll repost the synopsis I wrote earlier about the series:
This series is about Katy Swartz, who moves to a small town with her mother after Katy's father passes away, in hopes of a fresh start and a normal life. But a normal life is the exact opposite of what Katy receives when she finds out that her neighbors are aliens. There's Dee: cute, innocent, fashionable. Friendly. But then there's Damien: the most frustrating and gorgeous mystery that she will ever have to solve.

Mystic City by Theo Lawrence.
Dystopian. This book is about Aria Rose, whom, after waking up in a hospital, finds herself engaged to Thomas Foster and not remembering a second of their apparent relationship before her incident. The marriage between these Aria and Thomas would settle the political feud between the Roses and the Fosters. But then there's Hunter: mysterious, gorgeous...and a Mystic. An illegal Mystic - hated by everyone not living in the Depths, including both Aria and Thomas' families.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
Mystery / thriller. This story is about Mara Dyer, who finds herself in a hospital room after being the only survivor in a building collapse. Mara moves to a new place, and meets the very infuriating and extremely attractive Noah Shaw, the player with the British accent who actually seems to understand her. Things get insane in this book as Mara becomes unsure what is true and what is a lie: is she seeing a ghost? Is someone stalking her? Was that incident last night part of her imagination? Who knows? Because Mara doesn't.

Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira.
Contemporary. After receiving an assignment at school to write a letter to a dead person, Laurel is inspired and continues to write one letter after another to certain dead people, including Kurt Cobain and Amelia Earheart, asking them questions and recounting her day. Through these letters, she deals with the death of her sister, May, and changes in her life, including a possible romance with a boy named Sky..

Burn for Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian.
Contemporary. Mary, Lilia, and Kat are not friends. Each being so different from the other, they can't relate...or can they? When each girl is finally fed up with the circumstances she has been thrust into, these three team up together to take revenge.

Fire with Fire by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian.
Contemporary. This book is the sequel to Burn for Burn, which is listed above. I don't want to spoil you on the second book, so to get an idea of what the series is about, just read the synopsis I posted for the first book.
